Here is a link to an extraordinary tour taken from Raymond Andrews memoir "Once Upon a Time in Atlanta" (out of print).
It focuses on Auburn Avenue in 1949 when Sweet Auburn was growing the deep roots of the Civil Rights Movement for Dr. King (1927-1968) to stand upon firmly.
